Personality:
Killian is one of those people who never seems to be able to make up their mind about anything. His decisions seem to flip on a dime and occasionally make no sense. In initial meetings with others, Killian is wary and curious at the same time and doesn't know which to be more of. After getting to know someone and befriending them, Killian is, above everything, loyal. He values the opinion of others though occasionally comes off as an arrogant know-it-all, which often gives off the wrong first impression. When pressured or questioned, he gets defensive almost immediately before, in most cases, realizing he was simply being ridiculous.
More often than not, the wolf tends to have a positive attitude and find a good thing in every situation. That alone is sometimes harder than many would think. He is usually laid back and quiet, but when asked for his opinion, he will give it without holding anything back. Though he isn't out to hurt people, every now and then his words come out in a negative way.
History:
Born in Rome, Italy, Killian was the only child of Lillian and Marcus James, both wealthy attorneys. Growing up, Killian got everything he could possibly want as both of his parents had always wanted a boy and were thrilled to have him. In Killian's mind, however, his parents bought him things to make up for them rarely being around. For as long as he could walk, a nanny had always been around, taking care of him in the way his parents didn't. She would tell him that they would be with him if they could but they had to work in order to keep all of the nice things they had. Killian didn't buy it.
At the age of seven, Killian had been in the basement with his father when he placed his hand on the exhaust pipe of the furnace, scalding his hand and leaving a permanent scar. He was taken to the hospital where the doctors took care of the burn and asked how it had happened. Marcus explained what had happened and the doctor realeased Killian, with specific directions to place the burn cream on his hand at least twice a day. Afterwards, Marcus dropped Killian off at the nanny's and went to work, acting as though nothing had happened. With a semi-frantic worry, the nanny inquired what had happened, to which Killian simply said he accidentally touched something hot. She let it go after that.
As the years continued to go by, Killian became more and more distant from his parents. Now old enough to where he didn't need a nanny, he was home alone nearly every night. In school, he began to hang out with the wrong crowd and his personality seemed to shift the more he was with them. He became angry and hateful, wanting nothing to do with the parents that had never really been parents. Soon, he was spending every night out with the tough crowd before he finally decided that he was leaving home to get a place of his own.
At the age of seventeen, the male found himself in a spot of trouble. He had borrowed about 2500 in cash a year ago from a mobster that one of his friends was connected with. He had been given one year to pay the man back. Having made no payments, the man sought Killian out and told him that he would need to be taken care of. Naturally, the male though that he was going to be killed, but found himself with something far worse. When his eyes closed, something sharp latched onto the flesh just above his ankle. The pain was severe to the point where he passed out. When he woke the next morning, he was still in the alley. With some effort, he managed to get up and make his way to the apartment that he was staying at. Despite recieving some odd looks, no one spoke to the male. Once home, he cleaned the wound and bandaged it, he ate and went back to sleep.
Killian slept a day and a half straight when he finally woke again. He ate once more and inspected the wound, confused as to why it was no longer there. When he first bandaged it, he hadn't really taken notice to what it looked like, but considering it was gone now, it couldn't have been that bad when he first got to it. A few moments later, there was a knock at his door.
Before him stood a tall woman who asked to speak with him. Naturally, he let her in and did the things a proper host does. Her first question caused him to stop in his tracks. "What happened a few nights ago?" His mind ran fast. There was no way she could have known. After she explained what she was and what she'd sensed he now was, Killian fell to the bed, his mind moving to recall the events of the previous evening.
He'd been attacked for not paying a debt. After giving the woman a description of the man that had infected him, Killian was told that he was not a part of the Lukoi. He had to have been a rogue. With the time that had passed, there was no doubt that he was long gone and therefore there was little hope of finding him. After speaking with him a little more, the woman, who's name turned out to be Hailey, it was decided that he would return with her to the lands of the Lukoi.
After speaking to the Ulfric, the decision was made that Killian would stay with them until he learned how to control his beast. At least, that had been the plan. Their own clan was already large in size and they couldn't take care of any others for lengthy periods of time. In the end, the Ulfric and the members of the lukoi had taken Killian in for a period longer than they should have. In this time he learned how to shift at will and how to resist the urges to shift under stress or when having sex.
After four years with the wolves in Rome, Killian left and made his way through nearby cities until he found himself in Venice. He knew that he needed to get a job and his mind went straight to working at a theatre for the simple reasoning of being able to enjoy a show when he wanted to. That meant that he would have to speak to the manager. Thus, his next stop is that way.

It was nearly midnight when the door to a one bedroom apartment opened and an exhausted looking male trudged his way in. Killian threw his keys to the large chair before locking the door and leaning against it. He'd had yet another long day of work. Today he had to fire two of the workers for standing around and doing nothing. He'd spoken to them the first few times, but after it continued, he knew he had to fire them. Now he would have to find replacements which was something he never looked forward to. He would have to go through application after application and make a decision. After a moment, he shoved off the wall and made his way to his room.
Killian didn't bother turning on the light, merely allowed his eyes to shift to those of his wolf. Walking over to the bed, he sat down slowly, listening to the matress creak beneath his weight. Slowly, he untied his shoes and kicked them off. Folding his arms in an 'X' across his torso, he gripped the hem of his shirt and pulled it off over his head, throwing it across the room. With a soft sigh, his body shifted to lay on the bed, his eyes closing as he allowed his body to relax from a hard day of work. The animal inside him was restless, preventing Killian from falling asleep. His eyes opened and a low, irritated growl escaped his lips. "Why can I not get one night of decent rest?"
