It was probably a good thing Venice was used to tourists getting lost along their streets otherwise he might have risked more than a few pleasant expressions of helpfulness in the face of if inability to find anything. Aiden silently vowed to start brushing up on his Italian as well, it would probably help he at least had the basics while he was living here though he was not actually sure how long that was going to be. It would depend on what happened when he met the local wolves, that would actually be the final piece of the puzzle though he had told the Insitute he simply wanted a chance to see the place and see if he would be able to handle the distance from everything he had known. It was almost true as well, but not completely true.
However he was in the plaza to shop not worry about the local politics in the wolf pack of Venice. He wanted to send his sisters something nice, Aoife and Agnes would be turning thirty five next month and he always liked to try and get them something special. Not that he had much chance to speak with them these days. They were both married and raising their own families, something he doubted he would ever manage to have now.
Still he was uncle to almost six children and Aaron had just told their mother he was going to be a father again in the new year. He could indulge his urge for children through his siblings even if his mother was clearly intent on trying to suggest he needed to be settling down and having babies as well. It almost made him wish he had told them about his infection but Aiden had not wanted any of them to worry about him and that would have been the case if he had even suggested something was wrong. Besides he knew of others who had told their families only to have them turn their backs on them completely. His family was too important to him to risk that happening to him.
Walking about the place he paid attention to his surrounding aware of someone watching him Aiden ignored it for the time being. While he wanted to talk to the local Pack he also knew they would probably spot him first so he would simply wait for them to make the first move. All the while being as inoffensive as he could manage to be.
