Bao Yu had been having a terrible time of late in the millennium. She was harassed and driven out of England before she could even bat an eye and she wasn't sure if her relationship with the faeries of that region were irreparably damaged or not but one thing she did she know was that her reputation there as a vampire was shot to hell. She still couldn't believe that after so much time had passed that she still couldn't repair the damage that was caused there. Through the years, her work as a lawyer and advocate for the paranormal had suffered from the incident and she worked hard to remedy the situation.
It didn't much matter to her though. She'd found what she was looking for there, at least she sort of did. She'd secretly been looking for her former master, China-Rose, and he was definitely in England at the same time her misfortune befell her. For all she knew he probably had something to do with it, albeit indirectly. Before she had to leave though, she'd obtained valuable information pertaining to his whereabouts. It was said he was headed to Italy and Italy is exactly where she went to as well.
Unfortunately, her hot lead ended up in another of many cold trails but Bao had hope that he'd only gone underground and still remained somewhere in the country. It irritated her that China really could disappear into thin air when the need arose and judging by the way she still couldn't track him, he really must have put up a fuss with the council back in England.
Bao Yu walked the brightly lit main avenue, peering at all the little shops along the way. Her raven-black locks shimmered under the lamp lights, throwing off a spectrum of hues in varied shades of purple and cause many heads to turn and look at her. She was wearing it loose for the evening; something that was a rare event for her. She didn't know why she was wearing it down because she usually kept it up-swept with the exception of special occasions. Nothing about this night had proved it to be anything but ordinary. She'd decided to give up on her daily hunt for China for the night and to spend a lil time picking up some trinkets to add to her collection. She so loved baubles and things and tonight was the perfect night to do a little shopping.
