The start of the work week was always the roughest day. Or at least that was how it seemed to work out for Patrick. It's not even like he went wild crazy over the weekend and needed the recoup time or something. Just everyone was rushing and being general jerks that he grew to hate Mondays. He wasn't even working today but still manged to get flicked off by three drivers on his way to the local coffee shop located on Pack land. Sighing he pushed his sunglasses even more firmly onto the bridge of his nose before slinking into the shop.

He was greeted as he walked in and offered a smile as he headed up to the counter to order his usual drink. Something loaded with sugar and caffeine that would get rid of the stress headache that was slowly forming in his temples. After making idle chit chat for a couple of minutes Patrick grabbed his drink, a muffin and a copy of the local paper to go sit down at one of the empty tables.

Half way though the coffee and the muffin was already gone, The chime on the door went off and he glanced over wondering how it was. Most likely another pack member seeing as they were smack dab in the middle of Lukoi land. He hissed slightly as he manged to get coffee on his hand. So much for waiting to to see how was going to be walking though the door. He wiped up his mess with some of the napkins he had on hand shaking his hand to get rid of the coffee that was clinging to his hand still.

Monday was a day that didn't deserve to exist. Most often people were returning from crazy weekends and if it wasn't a crazy weekend it was the simple fact that people had stayed up late. Weekends were killer but the Monday that followed seemed to be just as bad if not worse. Being a Monday meant that it was time for coffee. That would most definitely help him for that morning.

Making his way into the shop, he paused briefly as he sensed wolf. It wasn't that surprising considering where he was, but he hadn't run into many of his kind yet. Ordering a cappucino and a muffin, Killian made his way to find a seat. While he had a place in mind, his wolf seemed to have another idea. It lead him to where a male was cleaning up some spilled coffee. The male held back a laugh and instead placed his items down, offering the other male a smile.

"This seat taken?"

He pushed a small pile of soggy napkins to the side as he attempted to clean up his mini mess. Hazel eyes glanced up and looked around blinking when he spotted a face. He shook his head giving a much put about sigh. "Snag the seat Killian. That way someone else can't come over and ask me about the spill." He glanced to the counter and noticed the girl that had made his coffee was actually snickering behind one hand. Once the mess was cleaned up more of less he licked his palm. Yup, he was still a coffee flavored wolfie.

Shaking his head he gave his hand another idle lick before grabbing yet another napkin and wiping his hands down. As he was doing that he glanced up at his pack mate. "You on your way to work or you just braving the madness for coffee like me?" He had made it a point to never work on a Monday so everyone knew if he was out it most likely for food or something along those lines. He leaned back in his seat attempting to drink the coffee without making a huge mess of it.

A slight chuckle escaped him as he complained about the coffee. Part of him itched to see what the beverage would taste like on Patrick, but he resisted the urge to ask for a taste. Shaking his head a little, Killian moved to take the seat, forcing his laughter to go away. It was always funny when someone spilled on themselves. Thankfully Pat wasn't human or that coffee most likely would have burned him a lot more than it had.

Shaking his head a little, Killian took some of the napkins he had and got rid of whatever little mess remained. "You have got to be more careful," he said, taking a sip of his own beverage. At the question, the wolf spoke again. "Nah, don't start until tomorrow. Well, training tomorrow at least," he said, offering the other male a slight shrug. Killian had no idea what his schedule was going to be once training started nor did he know what it would be after he actually had the job.

"What are you up to today," he asked, his head tilting to the side as he looked at the male.

He rubbed at the side of his face as he watched Killian help clean up his mess. Now that it was done and over, nothing he could do about it, it seemed less annoying than it had at the time. "Guess I shouldn't try walking and chewing gum at the same time is all I can think." He snorted at himself allowing his inner wolf to curl up next to the other male. He sipped at his drink nodding at Killian's words. He had forgotten that he had started training and what not.

"How do you think that's gonna be? The training and all?" He leaned back in his seat the muffin in his hands. As he waited he tore pieces off the muffin and popped them one by one into his mouth. Not as sweet as a donut would have been but he figured he should eat something somewhat healthy considering this was breakfast time and all.

He leaned forward and grabbed his cup up."Nothing much actually." he sipped at the drink before setting it down and returning to his muffin. "I heard someone was selling a bike couple blocks down. Was gonna look into it. It's a fixer upper." He hummed briefly before popping another muffin piece into his mouth. "Your more than welcome to tag along if you want."

Another chuckle escaped from Killian as Patrick mentioned walking and chewing gum at the same time. "No, I'd say for no just walk and chew gum at a time when you aren't walking...Don't try it running either," Killian said, nodding to the male as he took another drink. Feeling the male's wolf curl up beside his, he noticed that his wolf's tail was thumping happily.

"Well, hopefully it'll go good. I mean, I don't think the job is going to be that difficult so training shouldn't last too long." Turning his head, Killian released a yawn and blinked a few times, his eyes watering with the strength of said yawn. Shaking his head a little bit, he turned back to look at Pat, taking in the way he looked today. It was pretty amazing. As he always was.

"Sure, that sounds good. Maybe I can help you fix it up if you want a hand," he offered.

He would have huffed a little at the remark but Killian had seen him walk into one to many walls as it where just trying to text on his phone and move from room to room. He shook his head covering his eyes as soon as he heard the familiar sounds of a yawn. "Don't do that.. Yawning is seriously contagious." He peeked though his rings flashing off the many bracelets and rings on his one hand before lowering it. "If I start yawning and getting sleepy it'll totally be your fault." He nodded popping the last bite of muffin into his mouth.

He pointed a finger at Killian even as he his wolf wiggled to get closer. "And if I get sleepy your getting dragged to bed with me." It was only went giggling reached his ears did he notice how that sounded. He sighed knowing it was way to late to take back what he had just said. He could already feel the tips of his ears started burning from the light blush that was going to be covering his cheeks in a moment.

"You know what I meant right?" He mumbled slightly casting his eyes over to the girl and giving her a mock frown. He got another giggle for his trouble. Rubbing the back of his neck he nodded smiling a little. "Sure. Didn't think you were into the whole rebuilding bike thing but the more hands the easier it'll be.

Killain offered a small smile at the yawn before shrugging a little bit. "Hey, I turned my head, that's the best I can offer," he said, a grin on his features. He grinned a bit at the thought of Patrick getting sleepy being his fault. That would be nice. Hell, maybe then he could get something out of the male from that. Immediately he shook such thoughts away.

The next words that left Pat's lips caused Killian to arch a brow. Hearing the snickering of the girl, his eyes wandered over towards her briefly before going back to the male opposite him. Noticing the blush that began to make its way to his cheeks, Killian smirked a little bit. Patrick was adorable when he blushed. At least...in Killian's mind he was.

"Right...I so totally knew what you meant," he said, giving Pat a wink with the eye not facing the girl. It was clear that his friend was already embarrassed so Killian decided that he would save more embarrassment for later. At the next question, he whispered a little bit, making sure the girl couldn't hear. "Normally, I don't. But since you're working on it, I figured I'd lend a hand."

He distracted himself from his mild embarrassment by sipping at what was left of his coffee. He could even feel himself relaxing bit by bit as the girl gave her attention to someone else now standing in line to get a coffee. So the blush was just a faint coloring of his skin when Killian spoke. And the blush returned again. Stupid skin coloring he muttered to himself shaking his head and finishing the cup of coffee in effort to not have to answer any questions.

"If your finished we can go ahead and leave now." He leaned back in his seat just far enough to be able to look around Killian to the street outside. All the people that were in a mad panic to get to where they were going seemed to have died down a little bit so wandering two blocks should take as long as it could have. He stood rubbing at the back of his neck before grabbing his jacket from the back of the chair.

After giving Killian a moment to catch up he made his way out of the front door and into the bright light of the sun. He hissed slightly and set his sunglasses back on his face before looking over at Killian. "You don't mind a little bit of a walk do you?" He paused shuffling his feet for a moment while waiting. He hadn't noticed till then but his wolf seemed to still be pretty cozy in it's spot next to Killian's wolf. He wondered if that meant anything or it was just finally relaxing enough to cuddle with all of his pack mates now.

As the blush returned, Killian couldn't help but smirk. As he worked on finishing his drink, his eyes wandered around. Part of him wanted to bite the girl that had been snickering, but the other part wanted to thank her. If she hadn't, he was sure that the other male wouldn't have blushed. And when he blushed, Killian found it utterly adorable.

As he finished both cappuccino and muffin he gave Patrick a smile smile and stood up. Grabbing his own jacket, he draped it over an arm while looked to the other wolf. He shrugged a little bit at hearing that they would have to walk a bit. "Long as it don't start pouring, I should be good. Otherwise, I'm using you for cover," he said, giving Pat a wicked smirk.

Killian had noticed the comfort that their wolves seemed to take in each other and while he didn't know just what it meant, he did want to find out. However that would happen had yet to be determined. Exiting the shop, he placed his own sunglasses upon his face and gave a soft sigh. "Well, let's go check this beast out."

Even though his eyes were hidden behind darkly tinted lenses he had to blink at Killian's comment. Now he was starting to think the other wolf was just trying to get him to blush. A warm feeling rolled off him but he mentally shook it off before stepping in the direction of where the bike was suppose to be."Are you'll melt in the rain or something?" He offered a grin over his shoulder looking over at Killian.

Looking forward once more he bumped his shoulder against Killian as he walked right besides him. "Don't worry, I'll protect you for the nasty rain." He glanced upward. "Don't think it's suppose to rain till next week so I think your sort of safe at the moment." It didn't take for them to reach the lot that help the old Honda bike.

It was missing the front wheel and had alot of rust covering the handle bars but in Patrick's eyes it still held some charm. "What do you think?" He asked nodding in the direction of the bike leaning on the fense that enclosed the lot where the bike was stored. "Still up the the task of putting that bad boy together with me?"

Killian gave a little shrug at the query. "You never know. I might secretly be made out of sugar," he said, a grin on his face. In a way, his wolf seemed to like that thought. Almost wanted Patrick to ask about finding that out, but forced such thoughts out of his head. That was not what he wanted to be thinking about in that moment.

"Good, you'll have to protect me." Killian may have been a wolf, but he wasn't the biggest fan of rain. A light sprinkle, sure, not a problem. But a downpour? That was most definitely not his thing.

As they got to the bike, Killian allowed himself to take a closer look. In his mind it didn't look like the greatest thing but if Pat saw potential, then there had to be something there. Moving forward, he ran his hands over the rust-coated handle bars and arched a brow towards Patrick. Only the other wolf could pick out such junk and make something amazing out of it. Killian had to give him props for that.

"I have to admit, I don't know what you see in this thing, but I'll lend a hand."

When Killian replied back to him after the sugar comment half a dozen things ran though his mind as to what he could have said back. Offers to taste test were the ones he instantly swallowed down. He wasn't sure how that kind of comment would have gone over. He decided to focus his attention on moving around the fence and joining Killian by the bike.

Crouching he got a better look at the low sitting engine and pointed. "Might look banged up but that's a suped up engine. Whoever did that had to put an easy 2,000 American bucks on that bad boy." He rose back to his full height not eve noticing he was standing almost on top of Killian till it was too late to move away without trying to come up with some sort of smart comment.

Deciding he might as well go all out he tipped his head back and stepped closer to Killian. That put him close enough to lick at the tip of Killian's nose. He smirked a moment trying to over his hastily changing emotions. "Not sugar but pretty sweet." Openly grinning down he took a step back not sure if Killian would attempt to smack him or just laugh the comment off.

Killian's eyes moved to the engine, trying to determine if getting the bike was really worth it. If Patrick saw something int it, then it had to be worth it. He knew the other male well enough to know that he wouldn't waste his time trying to fix up something that would be more work than what it was worth. Hell, that was just how the two of them ran. If it was more work than the potential worth, they scrapped it.

As Pat stood up, Killian shivered a little bit, his wolf instantly noticing the fact that he was nearly being stood over. Before he could say or do anything, the other male had stepped even closer and licked the tip of his nose. Killian froze for a moment, unsure of how to react to Patrick's sudden action. As he moved back, Killian stood up, his eyes wandering around to see if anyone was watching.

Deciding he didn't care, the male spun around and allowed his eyes to shift as he looked at the other male. He growled low in his throat, not a threat but something else. Moving his head forward, he spoke softly into Patrick's ear. "Be careful what you say and do...I'm not claiming responsibility for what happens should I find myself wanting more," he said in a whisper. Before he pulled back, her lightly nipped Pat's ear, moving back with a small smirk, his eyes shifting back.

Well it wasn't a smack that came his way that was for sure.He had froze up a bit at the sight of Killian's wolf staring out of his eyes and would have bet money on him getting hit till he heard the growl. It wasn't the growl that sounded pissed off.He stayed where he was allowing Killian to stalk up to him almost able to feel his pulse on his tongue. As Killian learned forward and spoke Patrick didn't stop his arms from rising up and resting lightly on Killian's arms.

He wasn't able to stop the soft noise that escaped at the nip to his ear and like should have been expected blushed harder than he had all day so far. He made himself release his grip on Killian's arms even though the urge to rub his cheek against Killian's was there. He took a deep breath trying to get his coloring back to normal. "I'll be sure to remember that then."

His wolf was now firmly around Killian's licking at the younger wolf's muzzle and he had to shake his head to refocus. Sure it had been awhile since he had a girlfriend and every since becoming infected he'd notice guy more and more but this was different. Hell if he thought he'd get away with it he would have been tempted to drag Killian into the shop's office and have his way with him. Bike,Bike. He let the chant fill his mind trying to keep his hands to himself. "Wonder where old man Matthew is." He purposely looked away from Killian to scan the yard. "He usually knows when someone is here."

Killian gave a small smirk as he took notice of his friend's reaction. It was exactly what he'd been hoping for. He wouldn't have minded a bit more, but for the moment was content with what had happened. The arms were a little unexpected, but Killian welcomed the touch. His smirk slowly faded into a smile as Patrick took a deep breath. It was intriguing to see the effect that he had on the other male. And, in truth, made him want more.

However, for the moment, he turned his attention back to the bike, while his wolf stayed beside Patrick's, enjoying the attention it was receiving. There was a ghost of a smirk on his face for a brief moment before it faded and his attention focused once more. The bike did have potential, he would admit that much. How much, however, was still to be determined in his mind.

At the next words from the other wolf, he shrugged a bit. "I'm not sure. Could be anywhere," he said. His eyes had wandered back to face Patrick and he could help but smile as he noticed the other male was trying not to look at him. The younger wolf would get Pat's attention after they got home. There, he would figure out just what he was going to do about this attraction that seemed to exist.

He didn't have to wonder for long thankfully. In fact almost as soon as the words left his mouth someone was peeking their head out of the building that served as the office for the lot. He offered a casual wave to the face he had come to call his second father and relazed his stance just a bit. So far as he could tell Matthew had no idea what Patrick really was and he was hoping on keeping it that way for as long as he could.

"Back for the bike huh?" The older gentleman came to a stop next to Patrick and gave Killian an appraising look. Patrick blinked wondering if he had done thatto himself when he had first stumbled on the older timer. He nodded and jerked his finger over one shoulder pointing back to where Killian was. "He's with me," He paused then decided to not say anything about how that sounded in his mind. "He offered to help me fix up the bike." Patrick rocked back and forth on heels as he glanced back at the rusted down machine.

It only took a moment for cash to exchange hands then Patrick was the proud owner of a 1985 Honda motorcycle. Considerng the thing wouldn't roll though meant he had to come back with his pick up and load it up.Another issue for another day though he guessed. After saying his farewells to Matthew Patrick returned to Killian's side. " So you had nothing else planned? I was going to head back to the back house and get the bed of my truck cleared so I can come back for the bike tomorrow."

Killian's eyes had been wandering around the yard when he sensed someone approaching. His gaze immediately shifted back to notice the old man approaching. He scented of dirt and oil, among other things. He figured that the man was the one Matthew that Patrick had been talking about. He forced his wolf to remain on a leash while it wanted to go over and sniff the man, wanting to see if he was a threat or not. If Patrick knew him, then he couldn't have been that bad.

As he noticed the look, he lifted an arm to run his hand through his hair. His gaze shifted to look at his pack mate before giving a small smile at his words. Killian knew how that sounded in his own mind, but for the time being he had to push such thoughts away. He could deal with those later. The younger wolf offered a nod to the human in form of greeting before his eyes moved back to the bike.

He didn't lift his head as Matthew left, only turning slightly when Patrick approached him. Inside, his wolf's tail was thumping happily, enjoying the closeness once more. At the question, Killian shook his head. "Nope, got nothing. Unless of course I suddenly get called in to do training tonight for some crazy reason," he said. Hearing the other male's plans, Killian nodded a little bit. "I'd be happy to lend a hand," he said. Silently, he added, Then I'll see about handling this attraction.

Grinning like a little kid Patrick rocked back on his heels and nodded. He was kind of hoping that Killian didn't have anything to do, he didn't want to feel likeh e was taking up time that Killian could have been using to do somehting more interesting. Whilwe he might get a kick out of working on cars and bikes he didn't expect everyone to have the same tastes really. Withthe keys to the bike safely in his pocket and knowing he could get back into the lot later Patrick headed back the way they came.

"Have you seen any of the other wolves lately?" He gently bumped his shoulder against Killian's mind deep in thought. He was by no way one of the wolves that hung out at the pack house all the time so he sometimes ran into the others but not a whole lot. It was a hit and miss thing most of the time. Which was why he was so excited to see Killian today. Or at the very least that's what he was telling himself till he could get a grip and sort though his feeling better. The rush of owning the bike was starting to get to him making him more inclined to reach out and touch. Which he did in the way of wrapping one arom around Killian's waist.

He kept it there hoping that Killian wouldn't mind to much. Wolves were all about touch anyhow. Even knowing that people crossing them on the street would think they were an item didn't make him pull back any. "For helping me I htink I owe you dinner for something." He nodded his mind already wrapped up in things he wanted to do to the bike when he got the time. Parts were nothing, it was more of a time thing. Trying to get everything done in hisspare time while not at work.

Killian couldn't help but smile at Patrick's sudden childlike facial expressions. It had appeared that not having anything to do for the day was going to work out in his favor. Go figure that having no plans would actually work better for once. His wolf around Patrick's made him realize that whilst he didn't have plans, he did now. Oh yes, he had plans indeed. Just what they were had yet to be determined.

"Not really. I haven't been at home too much, mostly out trying to find stuff for the job. Clothes and whatnot," he said as way of explanation. Killian moved himself a little closer to Patrick, eager to see what would happen. As the older male's arm wrapped around his waist, Killian smiled softly. A warm feeling spread throughout his body as his own arm moved to wrap around Patrick.

At the next words, a smirk slowly spread across Killian's face. "Or something," he stated, his eyes shifting to face Patrick, an unfamiliar look in them. It was one of desire more than anything.

He relaxed against Killian's side wondering why it was so easy to do that with hm and not everyone in the pack. He nodded his mind wandering as they made their way to the pack house. He had only stopped by Killian's place of work once but it looked panicked so he hadn't stuck around. It looked interesting that was fore, he did better when surrounded by tools and cars himself. So distracted by his inner thoughts he didn't notice the look on Killian's face. If he had he would have blushed yet again.

"I think we should do a pack BBQ. Get everyone together so they can eat more meat than can be healthy then pass out in the living room." He nodded liking the idea the more he thought about it. Un-noticed by him he manged to get one hand under Killian's shirt and was just resting it there as they walked. The rest of the walk passed by without him even paying to much attention.
